ElevenMoms updates
I have been a member of Wal-Mart’s ElevenMoms initiative for about 2 weeks now, and I have to say I’m enjoying getting to know the other ladies. Frugal living is a way of life for most of them, and I am learning a lot, to say the least. And there are now 18 ElevenMoms. I know…the name isn’t exactly accurate anymore, but the more the merrier. You can find links to all of their blogs on my blogroll page.
Since joining, the ElevenMoms have begun receiving Wal-Mart’s Top 12 Christmas Toys from various manufacturers to try out. I plan to keep a couple of the toys and donate the rest, either to Toys for Tots or directly to a family in need in my community via Angel Tree or some other organization. I’ll write more on that in another post once I have solidified the way I plan to give.
